The Shops at Verandah is a 93,000 square foot, Publix Anchored, neighborhood grocery and specialty center including local shops, restaurants and banks. It is conveniently located at the intersection of State Road 80 (Palm Beach Boulevard) and State Road 31 in Fort Myers Shores, Florida.

The center is part of the Verandah Country Club community, an existing 1,500-acre master planned golf course community developed by Bonita Bay Group. The market area also includes River Hall and Portico which, together with Verandah, represent zoning entitlements for up to 3,738 residential units. The site is ideally situated to capture residential population on both the north and south sides of the Caloosahatchee River, accessed by the State Road 31 bridge. Three dedicated access
points along State Road 80, as well as a “private” signalized entrance in the shopping center on State Road 31 provide excellent access to the site.

Future residential growth potential is excellent with planned expansion of Babcock Ranch, adding an additional 20,000 residential units just three miles north of the site. More imminent growth opportunities to the north include US Homes’ Heritage Creek with 1,250 residential units and the population along the northern banks of the Caloosahatchee River.
